INTERNATIONAL WOMEN DAY, MARCH 2025

ASSOCIATION OF WOMEN TOWN PLANNERS IN NIGERIA (AWTPN), RIVERS STATE CHAPTER, commemorated International Women’s Day 2025 with the theme: Accelerate Action yesterday, Saturday, March 8, 2025.

Highlights of the day’s event include lectures and talks on mentorship and growth of young professionals, motherhood and the roles of women in homes, offices and places of business, healthy cultural practices, networking amongst other professionals, and creating and leveraging promising relationships.

Also, a visit to the Motherless Babies Home and presentation of gift items to the facility. It was led by the Chapter AWTPN Chairperson, Tpl. (Mrs) Beauty Legborsi Toghi and her Executives.

It was a joyous moment to wine and dine, strengthen bonds and share in the spirit of camaraderie.
